No-effect level
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007985
The highest dose or concentration of a substance that does not produce any detectable adverse effect in a test system or organism. This level is established through experimental studies, typically in toxicology, to identify the threshold below which no harmful responses occur. It is a key parameter in determining safe exposure limits for chemicals.
