Lowest effective dose
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006788
The smallest dose of a substance that produces a statistically significant and biologically relevant effect in a test system or population. This dose is typically determined from dose-response studies and represents the threshold at which a measurable positive outcome is observed. It is a key parameter in pharmacology and toxicology for assessing efficacy or toxicity.
