Dose-effect curve
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003398
A graphical representation plotting the magnitude of a specific biological effect against the administered dose of a chemical or physical agent. The effect is a graded measurement, such as the degree of enzyme inhibition or change in a physiological parameter, within an individual organism or system. This contrasts with a dose-response curve, which plots the proportion of a population exhibiting an all-or-nothing response.
