Local model
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006739
A computational model developed to predict properties or activities for a specific, narrow chemical space or a particular class of compounds. These models are highly accurate within their defined applicability domain but may not generalize well to structurally dissimilar compounds. They contrast with global models, which aim for broader applicability.
