Concordance
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002378
The agreement between a predicted property and an experimentally measured value for a set of chemical compounds. In computational drug design, this measures how well a model, such as a quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) model, reproduces observed biological activities or physicochemical properties. Concordance is quantified using statistical metrics like the coefficient of determination (R²) or by analyzing the percentage of compounds correctly classified as active or inactive.
