Rate constant-based model
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009933
A mathematical framework that describes the kinetics of chemical or biological processes using rate constants to quantify the speed of reactions or transformations. These models are constructed by defining compartments and the transfer rates between them, often represented by first-order rate constants. They are frequently employed in pharmacokinetics and ecotoxicology to predict the fate and distribution of substances.
