Model
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-007355
A simplified representation of a real-world system or process, often expressed as a set of mathematical equations or a conceptual framework. In meteorology, models are used to simulate atmospheric phenomena, predict future weather conditions, or understand climate change. Numerical weather prediction models are a primary application.
