Cyclone model
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-004828
A conceptual framework or mathematical representation used to describe the structure, evolution, and dynamics of a cyclonic weather system. These models range from idealized theoretical constructs, such as the Norwegian cyclone model, to complex numerical simulations. They provide a basis for understanding and predicting the behavior of low-pressure areas and associated weather phenomena.
