Cloud model
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-004434
A mathematical or numerical representation of the physical processes that govern the formation, evolution, and dissipation of clouds. These models simulate microphysical processes like condensation and precipitation, as well as dynamic processes such as updrafts and downdrafts. Cloud models range from simple parcel models to complex three-dimensional cloud-resolving models used in weather forecasting and climate research.
