Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013464

A pneumatic transfer system used to rapidly transport samples into and out of an irradiation position, such as within a nuclear reactor or particle accelerator. This system allows for short irradiation times and quick retrieval of activated samples for subsequent analysis. It is commonly employed in neutron activation analysis for elements with short-lived radionuclides.
