Radiochemical activation analysis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009873
A method of activation analysis where chemical separations are performed after irradiation to isolate the radionuclide of interest from the activated matrix. This approach enhances sensitivity by reducing interferences from other activated components. The technique is particularly effective for trace element analysis in complex samples, achieving detection limits in the picogram range for some elements.
