Radiochemical separation

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009876

A chemical process used to isolate and purify specific radionuclides from a mixture, often involving techniques like precipitation, solvent extraction, or chromatography. This separation is performed to reduce interferences during radioactivity measurements or to prepare a pure radioactive sample. It is a key step in many radioanalytical procedures.
