Immunomagnetic separation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005691
A technique used to isolate specific cells, proteins, or other biological entities from a heterogeneous mixture by employing antibodies conjugated to magnetic beads. The antibodies bind to the target, and then a magnetic field is applied to separate the labeled components from the rest of the sample. This method is widely used in cell biology and diagnostics.
