Monoclonal antibodies
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007541
Antibodies produced by identical immune cells that are all clones of a single parent cell, meaning they bind to the same specific epitope on an antigen. These highly specific antibodies are generated using hybridoma technology, which fuses antibody-producing B cells with myeloma cells. They are widely used in diagnostics, research, and therapeutic applications.
