Polyclonal
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009117
Relating to antibodies that are derived from multiple B-cell clones, each recognizing a different epitope on a single antigen. These antibodies represent a heterogeneous mixture with varying affinities and specificities. Polyclonal antibodies are typically produced by immunizing an animal with an antigen and collecting the serum.
