Recombinant antibody
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010017
An antibody produced using genetic engineering techniques, where the genes encoding the antibody are cloned into an expression vector and then introduced into host cells for production. This allows for the creation of highly specific antibodies with tailored properties, such as humanized or chimeric antibodies. These antibodies are widely used in research, diagnostics, and therapeutic applications.
