Indirect immunofluorescence
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005780
A laboratory technique used to detect the presence of specific antibodies or antigens in a sample by employing two antibodies. A primary antibody binds to the target antigen, and then a secondary antibody, conjugated with a fluorescent dye, binds to the primary antibody. This method is widely used in diagnostics for detecting autoimmune diseases or infectious agents.
