Humanized antibody

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005426

A type of monoclonal antibody engineered to reduce immunogenicity when administered to humans, typically derived from non-human species like mice. This modification involves replacing most of the non-human antibody sequence with human sequences, retaining only the antigen-binding regions (complementarity-determining regions) from the original antibody. These antibodies are widely used in therapeutic applications to treat diseases such as cancer and autoimmune disorders.
