scFv
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010570
A single-chain variable fragment, which is an engineered antibody fragment consisting of the variable regions of the heavy and light chains of an immunoglobulin, joined by a short, flexible peptide linker. This compact structure retains the antigen-binding specificity of the parent antibody. ScFvs are widely used in research, diagnostics, and therapeutic applications due to their small size and ease of production.
