Fab fragment
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004320
A monovalent antigen-binding fragment of an immunoglobulin molecule, produced by papain digestion. This fragment consists of one light chain and the N-terminal half of one heavy chain, connected by a disulfide bond. It retains the ability to bind a single antigen epitope and is approximately 50 kDa.
