F(ab')2 fragment

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004321

A bivalent antigen-binding fragment of an immunoglobulin molecule, produced by pepsin digestion below the hinge region. This fragment retains the ability to bind two antigens but lacks the Fc region, preventing it from interacting with Fc receptors or activating complement. It is approximately 100 kDa in size.
