Single-chain antibody
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010894
A recombinant antibody fragment consisting of the variable regions of the heavy and light chains connected by a flexible peptide linker. This engineered molecule retains the antigen-binding specificity of the parent antibody but is smaller and easier to produce. Single-chain antibodies are widely used in research and therapeutic applications.
