Immunocytokine
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005663
A recombinant protein created by fusing a cytokine, a signaling molecule of the immune system, to an antibody or an antibody fragment. This fusion protein aims to deliver the cytokine specifically to cells or tissues expressing the antigen recognized by the antibody. Immunocytokines are being investigated for targeted immunotherapy, particularly in cancer.
