Immunoglobulin
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005672
A type of glycoprotein molecule produced by plasma cells that functions as an antibody. Immunoglobulins recognize and bind to specific antigens, initiating an immune response to neutralize pathogens or toxins.
