Anti-isotypic antibody
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000690
An antibody that specifically binds to an isotype determinant, which is a constant region feature shared by all antibodies of a particular class or subclass within a species. These antibodies are used to distinguish between different immunoglobulin classes, such as IgG, IgM, or IgA. They are frequently employed in immunological assays for antibody detection and quantification.
