Immunoblot

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005656

A laboratory technique used to detect specific proteins in a sample by separating them electrophoretically and then transferring them to a membrane for antibody probing. The antibodies bind to the target protein, which is then visualized using a detection system. This method, also known as Western blot, is widely used in molecular biology and diagnostics.
