Radiochemical purification

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009874

The process of separating a specific radionuclide or radioactive compound from other radioactive or non-radioactive components in a sample. This is typically achieved through chemical methods such as precipitation, solvent extraction, or ion exchange. The goal is to obtain a sample with high radiochemical purity for analysis or application.
