Multi-dimensional chromatography
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007631
A separation technique that employs two or more different chromatographic mechanisms in series to achieve enhanced resolution of complex mixtures. The effluent from one separation column is transferred to a second column with different selectivity. This approach is particularly effective for samples containing many components that are difficult to resolve with a single chromatographic method.
