Programmed-temperature chromatography

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009525

A chromatographic technique where the temperature of the column is systematically increased during a separation. This temperature gradient reduces the retention times of later-eluting components, improving their resolution and decreasing overall analysis time. It is widely used in gas chromatography to separate compounds with a broad range of boiling points.
