Isothermal chromatography
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006222
A chromatographic procedure performed at a constant column temperature throughout the entire separation process. Maintaining a fixed temperature simplifies the method and provides reproducible retention times for analytes under consistent conditions. This technique contrasts with temperature-programmed chromatography, where the column temperature is systematically increased during the run to elute compounds with higher boiling points.
