Isothermal technique
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006224
A method of thermal analysis where the temperature of the sample is held constant while a property of the material is monitored over time. This approach allows for the study of time-dependent processes, such as crystallization, decomposition, or phase transitions, at a fixed temperature. Examples include isothermal calorimetry and isothermal thermogravimetric analysis.
