Static technique
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011336
An experimental method in thermal analysis where the sample is held at a constant temperature for a period, or the temperature is changed very slowly, to allow the system to reach equilibrium. This approach is used to study equilibrium properties or very slow kinetic processes. Examples include isothermal thermogravimetric analysis or long-term stability tests.
