Isothermal crystallisation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006223
The process where a polymer material crystallizes at a constant temperature. This occurs when a molten polymer is rapidly cooled to a specific temperature above its glass transition temperature but below its melting point, and then held at that temperature. The rate and extent of crystallization can be studied under these controlled conditions.
