Confined-spaces crystallisation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002410
The process of polymer crystallization that occurs within a restricted geometric environment, such as thin films, pores, or between lamellae. This confinement can significantly alter the morphology, kinetics, and resulting crystal structure compared to bulk crystallization. The dimensions of the confining space often dictate the orientation and size of the growing polymer crystals.
