Crystallization
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002765
The process by which a solid with a highly ordered atomic or molecular structure forms from a solution, melt, or gas phase. This involves the nucleation of small crystals followed by their growth. Crystallization is a fundamental process in chemistry for purification and material synthesis.
