Non-isothermal crystallisation

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008029

The process of polymer crystallization that occurs under conditions where the temperature of the material is continuously changing, rather than held constant. This scenario is typical in many industrial polymer processing operations, such as injection molding and extrusion. The cooling rate significantly influences the resulting crystal morphology and overall crystallinity.
