Polymer co-crystallisation

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009161

Crystallization of a polymer together with at least one other component within the same crystal. The second component can be a low-molar-mass species, giving a clathrate, or another polymer, giving either a complex of two different polymer species or an isomorphous co-crystal in which the chains replace each other in the lattice. The product is a polymer co-crystal.
