Co-solvency
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002615
A phenomenon where a polymer that is insoluble in two individual solvents becomes soluble when these two solvents are mixed together in certain proportions. This synergistic effect on solubility is due to favorable interactions between the polymer and the mixed solvent system. It is the opposite of co-nonsolvency.
