Mixed crystal
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007423
A solid solution in which two or more different chemical compounds crystallize together in a single homogeneous crystalline lattice. The components are incorporated into the crystal structure without forming separate phases. This phenomenon is also known as a solid solution and can occur with isomorphic compounds.
