Mixed connective tissue disease

A systemic autoimmune disorder characterized by features of several connective tissue diseases, including systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, and polymyositis. Patients with this condition typically exhibit high titers of autoantibodies against U1 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein (U1-snRNP). Diagnosis relies on a combination of clinical symptoms and specific serological markers.
