Raynaud phenomenon

A condition characterized by episodic vasospasm of small arteries and arterioles, most frequently affecting the fingers and toes. This leads to a temporary reduction in blood flow, causing the affected digits to blanch, then turn blue, and finally red upon rewarming. It can be a primary condition or secondary to underlying diseases such as scleroderma or lupus.
