Systemic autoimmune disease

An autoimmune disease where the immune system mistakenly attacks multiple organs and tissues throughout the body, rather than being confined to a single organ. These conditions are characterized by a broad spectrum of clinical manifestations due to widespread inflammation and tissue damage. Systemic lupus erythematosus is a prominent example of such a disease.
