Pseudopolymorph
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009640
A crystalline solid that exhibits different crystal structures due to the incorporation of solvent molecules into its crystal lattice. These solvent molecules are an integral part of the crystal structure, leading to distinct physical properties compared to the solvent-free form. A common example is a hydrate, where water molecules are incorporated.
