Retention temperature
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013499
The temperature at which a specific analyte elutes from a chromatographic column in temperature-programmed chromatography. This parameter is analogous to retention time in isothermal chromatography, but it accounts for the changing column temperature during the separation. It is a characteristic property for a given analyte under specific temperature programming conditions.
