Programmed-flow chromatography
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009524
A chromatographic technique where the mobile phase flow rate is varied systematically during a separation to influence retention times and improve resolution. This approach can accelerate the elution of late-eluting components without compromising the separation of early-eluting ones. It is often used in gas chromatography and liquid chromatography to achieve better peak separation and reduce analysis time.
