Reaction chromatography
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013480
A chromatographic technique where a chemical reaction occurs either before, during, or after the separation process to modify the analytes. This reaction can enhance separation, improve detection, or convert analytes into more stable or detectable forms. An example is derivatization, which can increase volatility for gas chromatography.
