Sample pre-treatment
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010498
Any process applied to a sample before its analysis to make it suitable for the analytical method or to improve the accuracy of the measurement. This can involve steps such as filtration, extraction, digestion, or derivatization. The goal is often to remove interferences, concentrate analytes, or convert them into a more detectable form.
