Displacement chromatography
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003314
A chromatographic technique where the sample components are separated by a displacer compound that has a higher affinity for the stationary phase than any of the analytes. The displacer pushes the analytes along the column, causing them to elute in order of increasing affinity for the stationary phase. This method can produce highly concentrated bands of purified components.
