Dispersive transport
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003313
A type of charge carrier transport in disordered materials, such as amorphous polymers, where the mobility of charge carriers is time-dependent and decreases with increasing time. This behavior arises from a broad distribution of hopping times or trap depths. It is often characterized by a power-law decay of current.
