Charge carrier
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001891
A mobile entity, such as an electron or a hole, that is responsible for conducting electrical current in a material, particularly in semiconducting polymers. These carriers move through the material under the influence of an electric field. The concentration and mobility of charge carriers determine the electrical conductivity of the polymer.
